Paraglading
Paragliding in Nepal is amazing because of its varied landscapes, like mountains, hills, rivers, and greenery. Even though paragliding is quite new here, it’s become really popular. You get to see incredible views of mountains, vultures, eagles, and kites while flying over villages, temples, lakes, and forests, with the beautiful Himalayas in sight.
The best place for paragliding in Nepal is Pokhara Valley in the Annapurna region. It’s a town by a lake, with the Annapurna mountains nearby. Paragliding season is from November to February, with November and December being the best months. You start from Sarankot (1592m), where you can see Phewa Lake and the mountains at sunrise and sunset, and land near Phewa Lake. You don’t need any experience because trained pilots give you a quick briefing before you fly.
